To order online you need to give more than 48 hours notice. To order on short notice you can call the store you would like to collect the cake from. For any cake deliveries, selected cakes can also be ordered via deliveroo.
This cake can be reserved for collection from all stores apart from Surry Hills and The Star – for collection from these stores, you can visit us in store. We have a limited number of cakes available in every store each day. You can drop in and purchase a cake (subject to stock) anytime we’re open or call ahead to make sure we have the one you want. Online cake orders require a 2-day turnaround.
If you don’t have 2 days, visit any store and buy from the selection they have available, or give them a call 24 hours before to reserve one. If it’s for a special occasion, we highly recommend ordering ahead.
Our recommended safe travel time for cakes is 30 mins from store to freezer. If it’s a hot day, use your noggin… and make the trip snappy! If you want to extend your travel time, bring a cooler bag or esky.
To enhance the flavours and assist in cutting, the cake should be removed from the freezer and placed in the fridge 20 mins before serving. Always use a hot, sharp knife and ensure you wipe off any excess water to prevent depositing ice crystals on the cake.
We also sell candles which you can order online or pick up in store. All stores offer HAPPY BIRTHDAY plaques. Orders made in advance for collection from Rosebery or Fitzroy also have the option to add a name to the plaque.
Our bake at home crumbly pie is stuffed with milk and dark Messina chocolate chunks, vanilla custard and topped with a heap of 100s & 1000s. The kit bundles include a tub of gelato, you can select 500ml, 1ltr or 1.5ltr sizes (see savings below) and choose your favourite flavours in store on collection.
Once your pie is home, bung in the oven for 30, watch it bubble and dig into a squidgy custard centre. Top with your favourite scoops and voila!

PICK UP FROM: All stores except The Star
Refrigerate until ready to bake. Serves 2-6
1. Pre-heat oven to 160C
2. Bake for 30 mins and let it rest for 10 mins
3. Remove from oven and serve with your choice of Messina gelato
If you've got enough willpower to not eat straight away, please keep frozen from store pick up. The pie will keep in the freezer for a few months. Once cooked, store in the fridge and eat within 3 days.
Unfortunately no cancellations or refunds can be made on custom products, so please choose carefully!
Please make sure you collect your order during the 'pick up dates'. If you don't pick it up, the store manager will try and contact you a maximum of 3x times, and then we may regift it (or eat it) if we still don't hear from you. Due to limited amount of storage space in stores, we are unable to keep products for too long. We will of course try and be as flexible as possible during this lockdown period if you are unable to make it to the store.
